About AkosMD India
AkosMD India is a healthcare technology company focused on providing innovative solutions to enhance patient care and streamline healthcare management. It offers a wide range of healthcare services including teleconsultation, machine learning-driven assessments, behavioural health support, lab test bookings, and an in-house e-pharmacy called mCHEMIST.
My Impact
Built an end-to-end process flow of the patient portal and conducted user research to build a case for digital transformation.
Facilitated multiple brainstorming workshops aimed at improving the integration and cohesion of processes and people across different locations. The objective was to develop interventions that could be implemented at multiple touchpoints.
Simplified the design to cater to all user groups, with clear instructions and intuitive navigation. Also, the developing team Implemented robust API integrations for seamless data exchange.
Learnings & Challenges
Since I have no background in Healthcare, it was quite challenging to learn all about the complexities of healthcare regulations and data privacy of the patients.
I understood that it is critical to be a team player to maintain active communication with diverse teams to obtain and comprehend data.
The agile method of working by setting smaller goals and attaining them progressively helped me manage multiple things at once.
Gained valuable experience in designing for the healthcare sector, understanding the unique challenges and requirements of diverse user groups.
